The apartment is situated right in the centre of the city, about a five minute walk to Princes Street and your first view of the castle! You’ll be based only minutes away from lots of great bars, cafes and restaurants in the West End, luxury shopping on George Street and The Walk and in close proximity to fashionable Stockbridge.

There's lots of culture on your doorstep - make sure you visit one of the many National Galleries - all within walking distance but if needed there is a great public transport system.

By Plane

Edinburgh Turnhouse Airport has several connecting flights from major London airports as well as other centres in the UK and Europe. A taxi from the airport to the apartment will cost approximately £20 and take 25 minutes. Alternatively, take the Airport Bus from just out side the terminal to the Shandwick place stop (marked on the map) and the apartment is a 5 minute walk. It's a good service which departs every 10 minutes and takes again 25 minutes (costs £5 return).

By Train

There is an excellent train service to edinburgh from all parts of the UK. Timetables and other rail
information can be found online at http://www.thetrainline.com.The apartment is located more or less midway between Waverley and Haymarket stations, with a short taxi ride costing approx £5.
